"American Pie" by Don McLean was one of Brian's favorite songs.  The words held a much deeper, ironic meaning after his passing. "A Special Tribute To Brian" is a FLASH presentation produced by his friend and high school classmate, Laurie Gabriel. Brian Kwiat grew up in Wayne, New Jersey and graduated from Wayne Valley High School.  An honor student filled with talent, enthusiasm and a lust for life, he was preparing to enter Drexel University to fulfill his desire of becoming a graphic designer when he was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia. In February of 2001, at the age of 18, Brian lost his battle with this rare and terrible blood disorder.  We remember Brian in our hearts and honor him by working to raise funds to help other individuals and families in need through The Tomorrows Children's Fund.
